“What did I do?” I asked.

Apparently, nothing special—just my job. It’s great to work at a place where writers are appreciated! Patty even gave me a crown. I think it’s my first. Really, I can’t remember ever, ever, ever in my whole life receiving a crown. In high school, I was never voted Homecoming Queen or Prom Queen. I never entered a beauty pageant. This is truly a first. I’m almost getting teary-eyed just thinking about it.
