Patty wasn’t supposed to come into the office today, but she showed up twice anyway. She’s selecting carpet, paint and decor for the new office downstairs, where we are expanding.
At 2 pm, she appeared for our regular Friday staff meeting, during which she listened to the highlights of our projects, issued instructions, gave direction and made decisions, all while gobbling a quick lunch of tacos.

She leaves behind a legacy of what we call “Claire-isms.” A Claire-ism is when you get really, really spacey and leave your car running outside for two hours in the parking lot.
