7/11/06 Today Without Patty ...

by Gloria

Patty’s gold convertible blew up this morning on the way to a meeting. Nicole drove her back home to get the Jeep, and Patty started out again, this time without any air conditioning in ninety-degree weather.

Then at the meeting, Patty’s cell phone died. In a panic, she called our office, and someone here went to her home to get the cell phone charger out of the dead convertible and bring it to Patty at the meeting.

The employee dropped off the cell phone charger and returned to our office. Only afterward did Patty discover she’d left her calendar / daytime planner in the convertible. Thoroughly disheartened by this time, Patty decided against asking anyone to go after it.

The word on the street is: AVOID PATTY BRIGUGLIO TODAY.

Patty told Candy that she will not be buying any lottery tickets. Meanwhile, things at the office have been pleasant, quiet and very productive.
