Today I heard from the people who are working on my car. The heart attack my convertible suffered a few days ago will cost me $2500. The worst part of this is that I have to go to Wilmington on Monday, and I don’t want to take the Jeep. I explained to my husband, John, that I want to take his “cool” station wagon, but I met with some resistance from him.
John says I drive into curbs all the time, which is true, and he doesn’t want me driving his precious station wagon. So he’s going to rent me a car. Can you believe that?
I had a great meeting with Bill Kamp and one of his clients. We will give this guy a proposal soon. His business is fire and flood restoration, remodeling, and handyman work. He seems like a great person and besides, he’s a Republican, and I’m all over that.
As you know, Kipp was out all this week, and Nicole took today off to go to the beach. She has been calling the office and tormenting us. Kipp and Nicole don’t know it yet, but we are talking to a new restaurant client, and I think we will have a field trip on Monday for the staff to go check the place out. So Kipp and Nicole, if you are reading this, be prepared.
I plan to work the weekend and I have been trying to get caught up, but I have been hungry all day and that doesn’t help. I had red licorice for lunch. Then I found out that Rob went to KFC for lunch and didn’t tell me or anyone else in the office first. We all love fast food and have punished Rob appropriately for his bad behavior. He is an intern who has now been properly indoctrinated into MMI culture.

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
