7/25/06 Today With Patty ...

This morning, Kipp and I met with a News & Observer reporter at Active Data Services (ADS), which is a business process outsourcing firm and industry leader in providing advanced data and document management services. It is hard to wrap your head around all the things ADS does without seeing the technology firsthand.

Afterwards, we went to a Public Relations Society of America luncheon, where we listened to a presentation about blogs. Kipp could have given the speech himself, because he is so up on the subject. I am proud that MMI is ahead of the curve and we owe much of it to Kipp’s foresight.

Later today, Nicole and I went to Iatria to work with them on some upcoming, exciting announcements. We were getting ready to leave, and I couldn’t find my car keys. If you have read the blog in the past, you know I tend to have issues with losing car keys. Luckily, due to my husband’s insistence, I had an extra set of keys in my purse, so we were able to get into the car. After searching all over the car and inside Iatria, we finally found my missing keys—in Nicole’s purse!

Was this a diabolical plot against me or what? Nicole says she has no idea how my keys got into her purse.

My niece, Katie, is going to get her hair done tonight, and I can’t wait to see how cute she looks. She’s from the arid southwest, and like me, she is having difficulty coping with the North Carolina heat and humidity.
