A Final Farewell

by Tim

So my time here at MMI ran out today, it is time for me to move onto graduation in December from UNC-Chapel Hill and whatever life brings me afterwards. This is my final goodbye blog to the MMI family, which I have been lucky enough to be a part of as both an intern and a public relations assistant. It has been a great learning experience and I know that I am a better professional, and person, as a result of my time here.

So here are my goodbye messages to everyone here. To Michelle and Kate, thank you for helping me with all of the releases you have passed my way. Elizabeth thanks for the talks and good luck in kickball. Wesley thanks for helping me with my writing. To Alison, thank you for stepping into the office manager role lately and for having my back with all things UNC. Nicole, my mentor, thanks for all of the knowledge you’ve passed down to me and for stepping up when I needed you to. Ryal and Kipp, you guys were always there to answer my questions and I’ll defiantly remember all of the great times had on the guy’s floor. Finally Patty, thank you for the opportunity and for turning me into the young professional that I am today. I know that I am better for having worked under you, even if you had to bring the hammer down on me every now and then.

My plan for the immediate future is concentrating on graduating in December, and making sure I finish my math minor. I’ll also make sure that I make the most out of my last month in college, since this will be the first and only time that I will be in college without something time consuming going on in my life like wrestling, working at the bar, working here at MMI, or any combination of the three.

So good luck to everyone here at MMI and in the immortal words of Ron Burgandy “you stay classy.”
