Under the terms of the agreement, Active Data Services will provide medical records scanning, administrative file scanning, transactional print and mail services, legacy system data conversion, and data conversion consulting services for Allscripts clients.
This converted data can be integrated into Allscripts clinical solutions, including Electronic Health Records, to increase effectiveness and convenience for healthcare organizations. This conversion to a digital office from a paper-based office allows healthcare organizations to experience immediate cost savings by eliminating chart supply costs, lost data, and converting storage space into revenue-producing square footage.
