BBH Design Wins EDGE Award For WakeMed North Healthplex Emergency Department

le Business Journal’s EDGE Award, which recognizes excellence in the design, general contracting, engineering and landscape contracting industries. The EDGE Awards were presented on October 12 at 6:00 p.m. at North Ridge Country Club.

BBH Design received the award in the category of “Project that most contributes to an improved quality of life in the Triangle” for its design of the WakeMed North Healthplex Emergency Department in Raleigh. The firm designed a pavilion integrated into a forecourt garden to enhance the patients’ experience without compromising clinical efficiency and patient safety.  The design is based on documented research proving staff and patient views of nature improve outcomes.
