Big Bad Ball Raises $120,000 For Hospice Of Wake County

Raleigh, NC – Brian Hollingsworth, Chairman of the 4th Annual Big Bad Ball, recently held on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Capital City Club in Raleigh, announced that the event raised $120,000 to benefit Hospice of Wake County. Hospice is a private nonprofit organization provides for individuals with a limited life expectancy.

The black tie event, hosted by the Young Executives Board of the Capital City Club, is one of Raleigh’s most successful charity events, raising more than $300,000 in its short existence. The 5th annual event is scheduled for Sept. 23, 2006.

“This year’s Big Bad Ball exceeded expectations,” said Hollingsworth.  “The event continues to grow and benefit Hospice of Wake County and the community.”
