Come on, did you really think I was going to let Michelle and Ryal be the only ones to give shout outs? SOMEBODY had to give a little love to those HEELS. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, no one can argue with the fact that these boys have had an awesome season, and I personally cannot wait to watch it all unfold this weekend.
Bless those poor Dukies. As a UNC graduate, a Raleigh resident, and a Krzyzewskiville hater, I’m happy to say GO PACK (just this once). I’ll leave it to my girl, Shruti, to tell you all how Chapel Hillians really feel. No offense, girls.

As we get all revved up for March Madness, I can’t help but to remember what may have been the greatest weekend of my Carolina life in 2005. I had plans to watch the Final Four games on Franklin Street and maybe even do a little studying for my psychology exam the next week. Instead, I scored four tickets – one for each game – and headed to “St. Louis” with a couple of other crazy fans. 16 hours, hundreds of cds, a few tanks of gas, and a wrong turn or two later, we made it. We hung with the alumni at Adam’s Mark Hotel and stood in the street to help the crowd scream as Roy’s boys loaded the bus to the court. If I remember my one football season of cheerleading in 7th grade correctly, “we came, we won, POOF we got the victory!”

I’ll never forget that final game as long as I live. I’m ready for another one boys. Let’s do this!
