Want the key to my heart? Give me a camera. Want to show the world a piece of yours? Give me a camera.
Lucky for me (and a few of my guinea-pig lovey-dovey friends), my parents have always been extremely good at spoiling their children. This year I cried on Christmas Eve. Laugh and shake your head if you want, but when I opened my new Olympus E-VOLT E-500 camera I was more than surprised. I was excited, shocked, unvelievably thankful, impressed, and finally dumbfounded (when I couldn’t figure out how to work the thing). It took me a minute, and now I am in love. That’s right, Evie-five and I are going to be very happy in our new life together.
It happened just in time too! On New Year’s Eve Eve, my lovely friend, Aimee, said “yes” when her way too wonderful boyfriend, Tommy, dropped to his knee in front of the White House. It’s not everyday that a girl can honestly look at a best friend’s new fiance and think he is good enough for her. Tommy, we thank God for you everyday. Aimee, you got the right one babe! Here they are a few minutes before the proposal:

This weekend I’m off with Aimee and the girls to David’s Bridal where every dress will be beautiful on our new bride-to-be. Soon, Evie-five and I will be taking some engagement photos and maybe even some bridal portraits. I can’t wait!
Best wishes to Aimee and Tommy!
