RALEIGH, N.C. – Billie Redmond, president of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, has announced that Keith Hempstead has joined the firm’s Commercial Brokerage Division. Hempstead will handle a variety of transactions ranging from business brokerage, shopping centers and redevelopment sites to professional offices, retail, industrial and leasing sites. A Fayetteville native, he received his B.A. in Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1987. Hempstead is a 1997 graduate of North Carolina Central University of Law, and has practiced real estate law for over nine years.
Prior to joining the firm, Hempstead’s varied professional background includes work as a reporter for two eastern North Carolina newspapers, as well as serving as a surface warfare officer aboard a guided missile destroyer in the U.S. Navy. In addition to serving as a commercial investment broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, Hempstead also currently leads a commercial real estate development company in Durham that develops properties surrounding historically black colleges and universities.
