National President To Receive Award; Luncheon To Raise Money For Charity

Columbus, OH – The Columbus chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) will hold a Women Empowering Women Luncheon on October 17 at the Columbus Renaissance Hotel where WPO founder and International President, Dr. Marsha Firestone, will receive a five-year award. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Amethyst, a non-profit organization that empowers women who are dependent on alcohol and other drugs to gain sobriety and maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

“WPO members are successful and powerful women who also give to their communities,” said Celia Crossley, Chapter Facilitator. “Amethyst is the perfect organization to receive our help and Marsha Firestone is the perfect person to receive our recognition.”

“The Women Presidents’ Organization is a unique forum for multimillion-dollar businesses to meet to learn from other women business owners,” said Firestone. “I am pleased to be recognized by the Columbus chapter and their outstanding leadership.”
