The Women’s Center of Wake County, Inc. was founded over twenty years ago, to meet the needs of women in their community. Over the past twelve years the center has focused on the issue of homelessness for women and children. The Center provides basic needs services, supportive services and affordable housing. The Center now serves as one of only two-Day Shelters in Raleigh, and the only one for women and children who are homeless.
