Dirty Dancing Filming Location Named Site Of New Concierge Community

LAKE LURE, N.C. – John Cloud, president of Exciting Adventures, Inc., has announced that Lake Lure, North Carolina, the filming location of the 1980’s movie Dirty Dancing, will be the site of FireFly Cove a new concierge residential community. The development will consist of 42 home sites built on 52 acres. The lots will range from $600,000 to $1.5 million. Lake Lure is located in Western North Carolina, and sits in the heart of Hickory Nut Gorge. East of Asheville, the Rocky Broad River’s crystal clear water flows through a valley to make Lake Lure.
