DURHAM, N.C. – Marc Reynolds, general manager of Falls Village Golf Club, has announced that the club’s June 9 Cousin for Bishop Golf Tournament raised approximately $3,000 to benefit fundraising efforts for Phillip R. Cousin, Jr., a reverend at St. Joseph’s African Methodist Episcopal church who is eligible for Bishop.
The tournament was open to the public and there were several contests including closest to the pin and longest drive. All participants received lunch and gift bags, with special awards given to the top three teams.
“We were pleased to have the opportunity to host a fundraiser at Falls Village for Reverend Cousin,” said Reynolds. “Golf is a great way to bring people together to support a common cause in a fun and relaxing venue.”
