FIGS Market Schedules Dia De Los Muertos

RALEIGH, N.C. – FIGS Market, LLC, a gourmet food market located in Cameron Village, will host Dia De Los Muertos, a pre-Halloween party from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.  A children’s costume contest will be held at 5 p.m., followed by judging of pre-carved pumpkins and live music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Throughout the day, children of all ages can make their own Calaveras De Dulces, or sugar skulls, and authentic Mexican food and specialty beer will be available.

“Halloween is a special time of the year,” said Lorin Laxton, co-owner. “We look forward to seeing the great costumes and carved pumpkins and celebrating with the community.”
