Founder Of Women Presidents’ Organization Receives Advocate Of The Year Award

NEW YORK – Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president and founder of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), will be honored as an advocate of the year at The New York Enterprise Report Small Business Awards Gala. Firestone is being honored for her dedication and support of the small business community. The gala will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Some of the Tri-State area’s most dedicated and well-known supporters and advocates of the small business community will be recognized for their accomplishments. Awards are presented to those companies that have shown the ability to develop and use best practices to generate competitive advantages, profits and/or long-term value.
