Four Women Presidents’ Organization Members Among 500 Fastest Growing Companies

NEW YORK – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) has announced that four of its members are among Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing privately held companies in America.  The annual listing by Inc. is widely regarded as the most prestigious indicator of growth among independent companies in the U.S. The four WPO members include: 

  • Irene Cohen, President of FlexCorp Systems, an outsourcing company providing human resources administration

  • Karen Gordon, President and CEO of GTCI, an international provider of documentation, content delivery solutions and network engineering services

  • Katherine Henson, Chair of Avail Workforce Management Solutions, a human resources company

  • Cassandra Sanford, CEO of Kelly Mitchell, a nationwide technology consulting company

According to Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president and founder of the WPO, the average WPO member business is a corporation (83%) as opposed to a partnership, LLC or sole proprietorship.  WPO member businesses have an average of $12 million in annual revenues, 113 employees and 18 years in business.
