This week Jason told me about a rule someone had shared with him a few years back. I thought it was appropriate to all, so I wanted to share with you what he called “the rule of good, fast, cheap”. The rule basically states that when you want something in life you can have two of those three options, but not all three. Meaning it can be fast and cheap, but it won’t be good; it can be fast and good, but not cheap; or it can be good and cheap but not fast. I thought about it for awhile and this rule really is accurate when applied to all of the examples I could think of, so next time you are purchasing something keep in mind this rule.
