Shhhh! Do not tell anybody, but just between you and me, I have found the best place to live in the Triangle. It is called Greystone at Widewaters.
Greystone at Widewaters is a new exclusive luxury apartment development located in Knightdale off U.S. 64 Bypass near Interstate 540. Chances are you probably know more about those roads than Knightdale itself, but let me tell you, the community is a hidden treasure in Wake County, at least in my book.
The latest census results place Knightdale as having around 8,000 residents in its town limits, and by living at Greystone, I am counted as one of them. That figure means Knightdale has a small-town atmosphere with considerable potential for growth thanks to the recent completions of 64 Bypass and I-540, not that what organizations and business that already are there are not attractive as is.
For example, there are four elementary, one middle and one high school in the vicinity of Knightdale, as well as the well-known private school East Wake Academy. Book lovers can enjoy the East Regional Library. For community involvement, there is the Two Green Thumbs Garden Club, the Kiwanis Club, the Lions Club, Boy Scout Troop 347 and two youth sports clubs. At least eight churches call Knightdale home as well, and you can learn what is happening with all these organizations by watching a cable station devoted exclusively to the area, East Wake TV Channel 22.
There is also the big advantage of Knightdale’s new and improved highway system making it easier to get around. Knightdale is just 9 miles from Raleigh via U.S. 64 and 25 miles from RTP via I-540, and with those roads being divided limited access routes for the most part, it is no problem using them to go to these locations quickly. And with Greystone being located near where the roads interchange, you can imagine how speedy it is to go and come from the complex.
The Knightdale location is just one of the many benefits you receive by living at Greystone at Widewaters. Find out more about Greystone here (http://www.greystoneatwidewaters.com/) or in person, and do not be surprised if you find yourself wanting to relocate there immediately to enjoy it and tell everybody else about it, just as I am doing here.
