I'm Outta Poker Chips...

by Ryal

They came one, they came all last night for the Jack Astor’s event celebrating the restaurant’s new Managing Partner, Jim Mallon. Free food and drinks were in abundance, so too was great conversation and the opportunity to meet some of the Triangle’s finest executives. I wanted to thank our great clients and friends who took time out of their busy holiday schedules to come celebrate with us Thursday night, especially due to the fact that this was on a weeknight with only a few days short notice to RSVP. In all, we were able to see somewhere around 120 of our clients and friends.

For those of you that were unable to join in on the festivities, here’s a short recap of some of the highlight moments that you missed.

Two red poker chips scored all in attendance two free drinks. However Santa – in the form of our great boss, Patty Briguglio – made several rounds around the restaurant, handing out an extra chip or two to those who had been “nice” this holiday season.

Partygoers were also first-hand witness to many of the upfit features at the Jack Astor’s restaurant in Cary, features which included a major renovation offering a new sleek, sophisticated look and an upgraded audio-visual package.

The food, the food, the food. If lobster dip, chicken or quesadillas are your game, you were treated to a mouth-watering feast last night. Hungry? I strongly recommend Jack Astor’s for any type of meal situation. Keep your eye out for their pasta too – cash money!

A complete recap of the evening cannot be complete without giving thanks to those who make our own industry function, the Media. I want to thank the writers, editors and friends who took time out of their deadline-filled week to join in on the holiday fun. It means so much to us here at MMI when we can put real faces and personalities to those who we email and do work for each and every day.

Can’t say enough about how nice it was to see you all last night. Here’s until next time…
