In The Gutter(s)

by Jason

This week, I finally had gutters installed on the house. The building code in North Carolina allows homebuilders to forego the installation of gutters and pass that task on to the new homeowners, which is fine because, if you ask me, it’s one less thing for the builder to screw up. Not that there is/was very much wrong with my house, but there are certain things in it that I look at and say “how the heck did someone let that pass for quality work?”

So, I’ve contracted the services of RAINGO to install seamless aluminum gutters on my house. If their installation is anything like their service and personality, I’ll have the best (and perhaps the only) gutters in the neighborhood. If you need gutters, call Tim at 919.875.0700 and tell him that Jason from Clayton Pointe told you to call.

Speaking of regulations in the state of North Carolina, we finally have both cars registered with the DMV. And, for the first time, I have vanity plates that say a little bit about who I am. There were some alternative plates that I didn’t choose.
