Ipod Fitness

by Heather

Most of the time when I type these blogs, under duress to please Patty, I wonder “Who will read these besides my parents and a couple of college friends?” Well last week the random bloggin’ paid off! Michelle, from MMI, called and said, NBC17 read your blog about how much you love your Ipod and wants to interview you for a spot on the evening news!” So, reporter, Simone, and her cameraman came to my office for a quickie interview. They had me perched on the white leather couch in the lobby (we’re not usually allowed to sit on it) and I prattled on about how Ken and I download fitness podcasts for running and cycling training. I Tivoed the newscast and watched it later that evening. I thought I sounded like a nerd. My kids and Ken thought I sounded too serious. My parents said “It was marvelous, honey!”
