Raleigh, NC – JDavis Architects, PLLC, a full-service architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm, has received a 2005 Champion Award from Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW) in the Community Enhancement competition for the firm’s work with the

Raleigh Housing Authority on the Capitol Park Hope VI development.

JDavis Architects was responsible for the planning and architecture of multiple housing types, community buildings, offices, and a central neighborhood park for the new development. Capitol Park replaced derelict Halifax Court, which was a public housing complex built in 1947.

“We are honored to receive this award,” said Jeff Davis, President. “Making the community a better place to live, through developing a new mixed income neighborhood to replace old, dilapidated, public housing is vital to the success of the community. We are proud to be able to play out part in the revitalization process.”
