CARY, N.C. – Jim Mallon, managing partner of Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill located at 2300 Walnut Street in Cary, has announced that the restaurant will host the Speaking of Women’s Health Volunteer Appreciation Party Wednesday, Jan. 24. The party will honor volunteers who assisted in the Speaking of Women’s Health daylong conference held in Raleigh Dec. 9 to provide women education about their health needs.
“We are happy that Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill is hosting our appreciation party,” said Tobi Bowen, beneficiary sponsor member for Speaking of Women’s Health. “Speaking of Women’s Health volunteers donated considerable time and effort to make the conference a success, and this will give us a chance to thank them for their hard work.”
