Kara Trott Named To Enterprising Women National Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C. – Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine, has named Kara Trott as an Enterprising Women National Advisory Board member. Trott is the founder and CEO of Quantum Health, which works with small businesses to save them money on employee healthcare plans. Members of the Enterprising Women National Advisory Board provide advice to the publication’s staff to tailor the publication to meet the needs of entrepreneurial women.

About Kara Trott:
Kara Trott founded Quantum Health in 1999 with the goal of helping people maintain their health and guiding them through the confusing healthcare system. As CEO, Kara oversees Quantum Health’s strategic vision and product development, along with sales and client services. Under her leadership, Quantum Health has grown 20-40 percent annually and has seen a 100 percent increase in covered lives during 2005. Previously, Kara was a corporate attorney with Bricker & Eckler, a law firm that specializes in securities and corporate law and was part of a healthcare law practice that was ranked in the top 10 nationally. Prior to that, Kara was a strategic marketing consultant and project manager at RPA Worldwide, an international business consulting firm. During this time, she managed large scale consumer and market research, consulting and strategic planning projects for Fortune 500 retailers and consumer goods manufacturers, including Ford Motor Company and Citibank. Kara graduated with honors from the Ohio State University College of Law and earned a B.A. in Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University.
