Kate Shanahan Joins MMI Associates, Inc.

Raleigh, NC – Patty Briguglio, President of MMI Associates, Inc., a Raleigh-based marketing and public relations firm, has announced that Kate Shanahan has joined the firm as a Junior Account Executive.  In this position, Shanahan will concentrate her efforts in the public relations division and work directly with clients on media activities.  Shanahan, a Raleigh native, recently graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in marketing.  She has a strong background in the marketing field from previous experience as a marketing assistant, public relations assistant, and event planner with Stealth Marketing in Wilmington.

Public Relations for the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) U.S. 1/64

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
