Kathryn Eshelman Named To National Women’s Business Council

Washington, D.C. – Kathryn Eshelman, president of Grade A Notes and owner of PatrioticJewelry.com, has been appointed to a three-year term on the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) as the Women Presidents’ Organization representative. As a NWBC member, Eshelman will provide advice to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration regarding women business owners’ issues. The council is committed to researching issues pertaining to women business owners and their enterprises, communicating their findings, connecting the women’s business community to public policy makers, and providing improvement opportunities for women business owners and their companies. In a new rotation policy, the NWBC has asked each organization whose term is expiring to nominate a different individual than the current representative. Kathy will be taking Marsha Firestone’s seat as representative for the WPO.

“Kathryn will be an effective and influential representative for the WPO on the National Women’s Business Council,” said Firestone. “In her 20 plus years of experience in business, she has become a dynamic and inspiring leader in both the civic and political communities.”
