RALEIGH, N.C. – BJAC, p.a., one of the largest woman-owned design firms in the Southeast, has announced that Lou Jurkowski, chief executive officer of the firm, was recognized as one of the Triangle’s top businesswomen by the Triangle Business Journal at the “Women In Business Awards” event held Aug. 9 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Jurkowski was honored as one of 25 Triangle female executives who have displayed exemplary leadership within their industry and remained active in supporting the Triangle community at large. More than 700 Triangle professionals attended this year’s event.
