MMI Associates Receives International Award

RALEIGH, N.C. – MMI Associates, Inc., a full-service marketing and public relations firm, has been recognized as a 2006 Gold winner of the MarCom Creative Awards for the firm’s efforts in planning and implementing a successful marketing and public relations campaign for the Exploris Museum exhibit The Enemy Within: Terror in America, 1776 to Today. MMI Associates, Inc. worked closely with Exploris to create both community and media awareness about the exhibit, including a series of events for community members and leaders prior to the grand opening on Sept. 11. Recipients of the MarCom Creative Awards are recognized by industry experts for talent that exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
