MMI Associates Receives National Award

RALEIGH, N.C. – MMI Associates, Inc., a full-service marketing and public relations firm, has been recognized as a 2006 Silver winner of the Millennium Award for the firm’s efforts in planning and implementing a successful marketing and public relations campaign for the Exploris Museum exhibit The Enemy Within: Terror in America, 1776 to Today. MMI Associates, Inc. worked closely with Exploris to create both community and media awareness about the exhibit, including a series of events for community members and leaders prior to the grand opening on Sept. 11. Recipients of the Millennium Award are recognized by industry experts for talent that exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Public Relations for the N.C. Department of Transportation (NCDOT) U.S. 1/64

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
