North Carolina Veterans Freedom Park Foundation Hires First Executive Director

[Cary, NC] – The North Carolina Veterans Freedom Park Foundation announced today that it has hired David Milidonis as its first Executive Director. The Executive Director is the senior executive for the Foundation and is responsible for working with and for the Executive Committee. Milidonis’ primary responsibilities will involve fund-raising, park design and development, marketing communications, community relations, and financial management. Milidonis comes to the N.C. Veterans Freedom Park Foundation from Management Designs, an independent management-consulting firm he founded in Cary. Management Designs specializes in leadership and management program design, and it has clients in over 70 industries worldwide. Milidonis served in the U.S. Army, is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY, and has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.

“David’s hiring is a major step forward in the development of the Park,” said Dick Ladd, chairman of the North Carolina Veterans Freedom Park Foundation. “David is extremely qualified and has a great background in leadership and a strong understanding of the military. We know he’s going to help the Foundation continue to grow and move in the right direction.”
