RALEIGH, N.C. – Scott McCrary, president of Carolina Communities Development Group (CCDG), has announced that Olde Towne, an exclusive urban development, has been selected as a member of the Audubon International Signature Program. The Audubon Signature Program provides comprehensive environmental planning assistance to new developments and aids landowners and developers in planning for the environment so that both economic and environmental objectives are achieved. To become a member of the Audubon Signature Program, Olde Towne underwent an initial site assessment and implemented the Natural Resource Management Plan, which assesses natural resources and environmental impacts associated with the development and provides strategies for addressing natural resource issues.
“The Audubon program aims to integrate environmental protection and improvement, which Olde Towne has worked to achieve,” said McCrary. “By being a member of this program, our residents will be assured of Olde Towne’s commitment to the environment.”
