Pleasant Grove Church Schedules Opening Celebration

CARY, N.C. – Dr. Classy Preston, Pastor of Pleasant Grove Church, has announced that the church will celebrate the opening of their new facility on Davis Drive on Saturday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m., with a formal banquet at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Harrison Avenue. The event will include a keynote speech by renowned theologian Rev. Dr. Gardner C. Taylor. Taylor has been called “the dean of the nation’s black preachers” by Time Magazine and has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Event reservations are available by calling 919-544-2107.

“Our heart’s desire has been to build this new facility as a result of our congregation growing and expanding in Christ,” said Preston. “God has now blessed us beyond measure to move forward as servants meeting the needs of thirsty souls in a diverse community. Let us continue to be grateful to God through Christ Jesus for His faithfulness, strength, and protection.”
