FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Chris Cammack, president of Carpenter, Cammack & Associates, Inc., has been named to the Fayetteville Sports Club Hall of Fame. The honor commemorates Cammack’s contributions to Fayetteville High School’s basketball and baseball teams and the N.C. State baseball team. In the 1966 state 4-A basketball championship game, Cammack scored a career-high 23 points and the last two free throws to guarantee FHS the title. He then earned a baseball scholarship to N.C. State, where he was named ACC Player of the Year in 1969, was twice named All American and set the highest single-season batting average record – one that still stands at the university. At N.C. State, Cammack earned 1st team All ACC four years, was the two-time ACC batting champion and was voted the university’s Most Outstanding Athlete.

“I am honored to be inducted into the Fayetteville Sports Club Hall of Fame,” says Cammack. “I have had some wonderful memories with sports over the years, and I am proud to be recognized among such an outstanding group of athletes.”
