Ragsdale Liggett PLLC Announces New Associate Attorney

RALEIGH, N.C. – Ragsdale Liggett PLLC has announced that John Edward McKnight has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the litigation department. In this position, McKnight will focus on general and civil litigation, handling cases involving construction law, employment law and contract disputes. McKnight is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, the 10th Judicial District Court and the National Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is admitted to practice before all North Carolina state courts, as well as the Federal Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Prior to joining Ragsdale Liggett, McKnight served as an associate attorney for Hatch, Little & Bunn, LLP in Raleigh, where he managed all aspects of the firm’s Domestic Law practice. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1999 from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and his Juris Doctor from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004. Born in Greensboro, N.C. and reared in Naples, Fla., McKnight resides in Raleigh.
