Reception With Female Members Of Congress Honors Local Author

RALEIGH, N.C. – Mary Cantando, author of The Woman’s Advantage: 20 Women Entrepreneurs Show You What It takes To Grow Your Business, discussed her book and signed copies at a reception celebrating the book release on July 27 at Bistro Bis in Washington D.C. The reception opened with comments from Senator Maria Cantwell, included a special feature by Cantando on APCO Worldwide’s president and CEO Margery Kraus and was attended by female members of the United States Congress.

“I was honored to be asked to speak at the event,” said Cantando. “To share my knowledge and experiences about women entrepreneurs with the women leaders of our country was a tremendous experience.”
