Search Engine Results Help Determine Reputation

I think this article brings up an interesting point I know for my generation is if I site doesn’t come up on the first page of of a search engine (in most cases google)  then that company is considered second rate.  I know that the MMI’s current Web site is very poorly optimized and we are working to fix that, along with the look and feel.  Let me know what you think of this article!
