This morning I had another workout with Jeff Wooten of The Body Mechanic. Today we got to do lunges. Yippee.
After we were done with our workout, I was unable to stand up. I currently have blinding, searing, shooting pains up and down my backside, upper-thighs, and legs from these lunges of death. I am not exactly loving this. If one more person tells me how good it feels to be sore after a workout, I am going to clock them. The people who keep telling me this are all 22-years-old, a size 2, and weigh 98 pounds. They cannot know how bad my broken body feels. The worst part is, I am negotiating with staff and interns to walk up and down the stairs to get me stuff because I hurt so bad! And I only did this today! I cannot imagine what I will feel like tomorrow.
Tomorrow, Tomorrow
Speaking of tomorrow, Happy Valentine’s Day, which is also my husband’s birthday. We will be on a plane to Phoenix for business and a wedding. So while I am away, I am sure the office will keep you up-to-date on all the happenings.
John Grider Is At It Again
As you may recall, Monday was the “Great Phone Drama” in the office. Fortunately, with the help of wonderful John of Greenlight Communications, we are back in business and the phones are ringing off the hook, no pun intended. It was humbling to discover that I was the problem.
In order to prevent this situation from reoccurring, John suggested that we become more proactive in avoiding this sort of complication. In doing so, he has made me a true believer out of me in preventative care. We are going to be making a lot of changes around here with the phone lines and John says these adjustments will avert future phone outages.
John’s expertise has been invaluable over the last year. He has restored my faith in technology and I no longer take the phone for granted.
