Blogger Jim Hopkins of USA Today mentioned MMI Associates in his June 12 posting. Yeah, we are right up there next to the big news about the Brangelina Baby pictures. Guess we’ve hit the big time, huh?

Personally, I think one of the reasons people enjoy Patty’s blog is specifically because of her sense of humor. She’s one of those naturally funny people who’s biggest target is herself. Patty says things like, “Inside me lives this skinny woman just begging me to let her out, but I shut her up with candy and cookies.” She’ll make fun of herself first, before anyone else, unless it’s her supposedly pitiful friend “Mari,” who regularly and mercilessly gets skewered.

Web sites are developed with the primary purpose of supplying information or providing transactions, but blogs belong as much to the entertainment industry as anything. Why do people read the MMI blog? For laughs and the latest Who’s-Who-in-Raleigh gossip. Guess we’re not that different from Brangelina, after all.
