They Golf in Indonesia?

Apparently Americans living in Indonesia do, and that’s why our friend Ben has asked me to send his golf clubs to him. halfway around the world. I’m slightly shocked that they haven’t asked us to send food after seeing the first meal that Ben’s wife, Sarah, was treated to.

Just so you know, Ben is over seven feet tall, and when he goes into public areas in Jakarta, the Indonesian children run to their mothers since they’ve never seen anyone that large before.

And while it’s not halfway around the world, our friend, Dave, from Connecticut is visiting for the next 48 hours. After living in North Carolina for just over a month, Connecticut does seem like a different world. I’m just hoping he hasn’t eaten all of my food.

In a random act of kindness, Allison Davis (not to be confused with New Allison) was kind enough to buy me some stamps (with my money) for some bills I have to mail today. She was concerned with the fact that the stamps were left over from Valentine’s Day, but I was just happy to have stamps. Perhaps The USPS should make stamps that are made specifically for bills that have catchy greetings on them for all of the people that us hard-working folks give money to every month.

Speaking of kindness, I was pleased to find out that my neighbors have their very own Internet business. Out of the Box Party is fun and affordable way to give child(ren) a safe themed-party with a few clicks of a mouse.
