RALEIGH, N.C. – Tobi Bowen, director of development/marketing for Resources for Seniors, Inc., has been named the event director for the Speaking of Women’s Health conference which will be held on Dec. 9 at the North Raleigh Hilton from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In this position, Bowen will collaborate with other event leaders and sponsors, as well as Speaking of Women’s Health Foundation representatives. She will oversee sponsorship, ticket sales, programming, keynote speaker bookings, audio/visual logistics, promotion and publicity, gift bags, volunteer roundup, décor, honoree selection, community investments and a kick-off event.

Tobi Bowen is the Director of Development and Marketing for Resources for Seniors, Inc., and has 20 years of experience in sales and non-profit health management. Her previous experience includes Director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Eastern North Carolina office, Executive Director of the American Diabetes Association of Central New Jersey and Area Director of Central New Jersey’s Muscular Dystrophy Association. Bowen currently serves as President of the Health Affairs Round Table, Wake County’s premier senior focused networking group. She is also a member of Triangle United Way Seniors Task Force, Senior Connect of Wake County, Chapel Hill and Durham Elder Resources, as well as the event director for Golden Jubilee Baby Boomer and Senior Exposition.
