I was home at 6:15 last night. It was a miracle. Normally I am at the office every night until at least 9 p.m., if I am not at an event. I had a meeting on my calendar and then realized that it had been cancelled, so instead of turning around and going back to the office, I went home. It was really weird. It was light outside, and I made my husband dinner. It was just freaky.
I had lunch today at 115 Midtowne with Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue. I just love her. She has this raging Republican thinking that she should run for governor.
Tonight is a busy one for me, as I am headed to two events back to back. The first is a meeting of the 2007 North Carolina Education Ball to benefit Communities In Schools of North Carolina, and the second is an open house at SEPI Engineering Group. Kipp is stressing because he does not think I can be at both of them. Got to go – I am late!
