Thank God for Diane Kuehn, president and CEO of VisionPoint Marketing, who stopped by today with some wonderful chocolate chip cookies. Kipp is mighty happy. Of course, the UPS man still thinks there is something wrong with everybody in this office. The poor guy comes every day and gets jumped by the whole office, thinking he is delivering food. Allison’s grandma told us yesterday she would be sending us lunch today, so the whole office was waiting for it, and the UPS guy came, a little later than lunchtime of course, and he was attacked by really, really hungry MMI employees. I am happy to report that the UPS man did survive.
But what is even better is that Allison’s grandma sent us the best chili cheese dogs we have ever tasted, along with these adorable spoons dipped in chocolate with sprinkles and then covered in clear plastic and tied with a fabric ribbon. Allison has the best grandma ever! She also sent each MMI staff member an individual bag of chocolate goodies with nuts and pretzels. Everyone is of course guarding theirs zealously and keeping an eye out for Kipp Bodnar, who is notorious for trolling for chocolates. But by far, the absolute best things were the chocolate covered potato chips, which I have never had before. Oh. My. God. They are amazing. Grandma, if you are listening, adopt me and send more. You are my favorite.
Nicole and I went to have lunch today at the State Club to see former MMI staffer Kate Shanahan. Kate is doing great in her new role as director of marketing for the club, and I am so proud of all she has accomplished. My biggest surprise was seeing Kate’s office area, which was neat as a pin and completely organized. Let me assure you, that was not the case when she worked here. I kept waiting for someone to have a traumatic brain injury. She always left a trail of open cabinet doors when she left a room. Oh, they grew up so fast. By the way, the food at the State Club is fabulous. The she crab soup and crab cakes were great, and Nicole was raving about her chicken.

MMI Associates was contracted to handle media relations and to organize various efforts to open the communication lines between the construction entities on the project and motorists. The firm developed a strategic public relations campaign to ensure that local motorists and those passing through would be aware of the most up-to-date traffic patterns.
