Today With Patty – Feb. 9, 2007

I am sure everybody is dying to hear an update on my heel, which is doing much better. I am absolutely in love with my acupuncturist, Dr. Andre Tse at the Iatria Spa and Health Center. Sometimes I am not thrilled about having the needles in my heel, but it only hurts for a second. And of course, I never complain. I just suffer in silence, because that is my way.

But the absolutely best part of the treatment is how he massages my legs and feet and gives me reflexology. It is wonderful. Of course I fall asleep, and I suspect my snoring puts him off a bit, but he is too much of a gentleman to say anything. He is also going to help me with our Flying Fish Project headed by our client Landquest Development that I spoke about yesterday. He has a sister who is a dentist, and he is soliciting her help in getting donations of dental equipment.

Not much time to talk more today. I am headed out to Denver to visit Cassie and Jake, my two nieces, who I love to pieces, and my cousin Chris, who we have affectionately called “Christina Paulina Stupina” since she was a little kid. Chris makes me look tame, and I cannot wait to see her.
