This morning Nicole and I went to meet a new client at the Cafe Carolina & Bakery in Cameron Village. Of course, I got the location wrong and the client went to the Cafe Carolina & Bakery at Harrison Avenue. Luckily, this new client already knows that I am directionally challenged, so she didn’t wait for too long before deciding “Patty got lost!” and called me, and we decided to reschedule.
The saga of the crisis PR situation with one of my clients continues, but I cannot say more than that. Just know that I am on the case!
Nicole is going “spy shopping” tonight for a client, by the way, so stay tuned.
I went to see my “voodoo doc,” Dr. Angela Baylis, Doctor of Chiropractic and Managing Partner of Iatria Health Center, about these monstrous headaches that I’ve been having ever since my most recent bone-crushing fall. Honestly, today it felt as though a giant Phillips head screwdriver had been jammed into my eye socket and was being twisted around my brain. However, Dr. Baylis gave me chiropractic treatment that made my headache vanish, and I was so happy, I could have kissed her feet. She admonished me to “eat better and exercise.” Yeah, that’s going to happen.
In real life, I don’t “do” coupons, but look what I am reduced to at MMI. I just came back from Walgreen’s lugging several bags of candy. One of the sad facts of my life is that I must save coupons so I can afford to feed chocolate candy to my voracious staff, who consume the stuff at a frightening pace and turn up their noses at jelly beans. Whoever dreamed up the idea of the never-ending jar of candy at MMI, anyway? My staff now fully expects daily candy fixes as a perk of working here, but as I said, they’re picky about the kind of candy. Ergo, the coupons.
