Today With Patty

Once again, I went to see the arm doctor this morning. He seemed surprisingly and extremely uninterested in my bone-crushing fall and my painful, pounding, potentially brain tumor of a headache that I have received as a result of my physical therapy. Now I am going to have to take two weeks off from physical therapy because of the irritation that it has caused to my arm. I think my doctor is going to have to take two weeks off because of the irritation I am causing him.

I have been in conference calls all day and everyone in the office is sick. I allowed those with the upper part of the flu to come to work today. Those with the lower part of the flu, I did not. You figure it out. Poor Nicole is suffering in silence.

Kipp is buying a house today, although we are of course more excited than he is. Little does he know that we are busy planning a house warming party full of macho presents for the token male in our office. No vases or wine glasses are in store for him-we will be getting him shovels, hoses and hammers.

I got my hair done, again, and I was happy to see the peroxide disappear down the drain as my “natural” blonde color was restored back to normal.

I figured I would start the week with a healthy lunch consisting of protein, fruit, and veggies. Katie Scarlett took great pleasure in the fact that I left my meal on the kitchen counter, which I am confident, is now strewn about my house with a guilty kitty licking her paws. Instead, I ended up with a questionably pink hotdog from Circus, but I can not honestly say that I was disappointed about that!
