Today With Patty 8/10/06

My desk looks like someone vomited paper all over it. There is so much stuff, and every time I turn around Candy gives me something else.

This morning Michelle and I met with our new client, Bryant Phillips. They are insurance restoration specialists with four operating companies: Restoration Plus, Emergency Services Plus, Classified Services Plus and DreamMaker. They provide a ton of services, like restoration of homes damaged by fire and water, bath and kitchen remodeling, pre and post-construction cleaning and emergency services such as tree removal and roof repair. We are excited about working with them.

I then headed over to the Women In Business (WIB) luncheon for the Triangle Business Journal. One-third of the women honored are clients of ours, which is awesome. The event was very well done and Castleton, also a client of ours, sponsored the valet parking and gave all attendees beautiful long-stem roses as they stepped into their cars. Everyone really enjoyed it and felt it was really classy, but then Castleton is classy.

Our WIB client winners are:
Dottie Burch (Ragdsale-Liggett)
Diane Kuehn (VisionPoint Marketing)
Judy Smith (Smith Seal)
Debbie Houston (Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston)
Suzanne Burns (Eaton Power Quality Systems)
Julie Clark (Crescent State Bank)
Mary Lou Powell (Rex Hospital)
Donna Preiss (The Preiss Company)
Karen Ross (Montgomery’s Florist)
Elaine Marshall (Secretary of State) – is being recognized with a lifetime achievement award
