Today With Patty 8/16/06

by Patty

I just got back from out of town and I did not get in until midnight. Of course, I had to get up early and I was not happy about that this morning as you can only imagine. However, I was happy to be back because apparently, the children here at MMI were busy driving Candy crazy while I was away. Can’t have Candy crazy!

I ate my way through the day. (What a shocker!) I had two meals at the same place – Cindy’s Café in downtown Cary. I had breakfast with Jonathan Taylor from Crescent State Bank. A bunch of other very prominent businesswomen (and me too) have a secret list of all the hottie bankers in the Triangle. I decided today that Jonathan must be named to that list. I had never thought of him as a hottie before, actually more of a brother, but after today I have decided that he deserves hottie status.

I had a great lunch at Cindy’s with Susanne Burns from Eaton and Hilda Pinnix-Ragland from Progress Energy. Then I made it back to the office for a bit where I found a gift left by Tobi Bowen from Resources for Seniors. Tobi clearly reads my blog and was so good to drop off a keychain yesterday that I can hook to my purse. No more losing keys for me! Tobi is my favorite!

Now I’m off to The Castleton Group for, you got it, white wine and chicken as they launch their new Web site! Ahhh – the glamour of PR!
